PROPERTY Description
Located in a quiet village, just outside the Renaissance town of Fontenay-le-Comte, the large, Charantaise style house has all the amenities you would expect for a quality holiday. Four large double bedrooms, each with its own shower/bathroom makes this the perfect location for families or groups. A fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room and comfortable lounge give all our guests the chance to sample the tastes of France in relaxing surroundings. Outside there are further areas to dine al fresco, as well as to enjoy the large garden, solar heated pool and a gamesroom to entertain both young and not so young.
Bed linen, towels and pool towels are all provided.
The accommodation is ideally located for those wishing to see the best the region has to offer. Only 45 minutes from coastal resorts such as La Rochelle/Ile de Ré, and La Tranche-sur-Mer to the west, the renowned theme park of Puy du Fou to the north, and the Futuroscope park at Poitiers to the east. There are many sites much more locally, such as the Mervent Forest National Park, the 'Green Venice', the lakeside water park and many abbeys and ancient monuments on our doorstep. Cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing and golf are all catered for in this region, or simply relax by the pool in this wonderful climate. WIFI available at a cost of 20 euros pw for everyone to use. This is a lovely property with attractive gardens and within easy reach of many interesting places to visit.
