PROPERTY REVIEWS

After a hectic and busy year, we needed peace and quiet and "Casa Cielo" and the beautiful location provided that and much more.
The house was perfect! the house was exactly as it was depicted on the website.
So much care went into restoring it and decorating it down to the last detail even the curtains and bed linens were in the style, just beautiful! It was impeccably clean and so comfortable.
The views from all windows and balconies are exceptional!! We loved the big kitchen which was very well equipped! I love to cook and we had amazing dinners there every night! The house is close enough to the big cities to visit yet also secluded enough to stay in and relax too! It is best to have a car to get to and from the closest town to do groceries, but there is a truck that comes to the village to sell bread every day and once a week a fruit and vegetable truck.
Extra bonus was that our dog was also welcomed, she loved it here too!! The owners were very friendly and helpful.
    We will most definitely return..

We have just returned from our stay in Italy, in the village of Boveglio, at the property of Luca G.
    We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The house is very attractive and comfortable, with beautiful views across the valley.
It is an old house restored to a high standard.
It has two terraces, a garden and a balcony all situated to make the most of the spectacular views.
    The village too is delightful.
we were made very welcome at the restaurant and exchanged addresses with a couple of local people.
We had a wonderful tme and our children are detemined to return soon..

My boyfriend and I were looking for a specific feel for our stay in Italy, a filler spot for the end of our two week European vacation.
When we found this property we were so excited and immediately fell in love with the photos, and once we arrived we were not disappointed.
The beauty of the home, which has been lovingly restored and beautifully decorated, was captivating. When we arrived in was late and snowing.
We were greeted by the smiling Italian owner, who gladly shoveled snow for us to have a place to park.
His warm welcome was so sincere.
He was always available to help guide us and check in on us without being pushy or intrusive. We spent as much time as we could enjoying the views from Casa Terra and cooking in the amazing kitchen, with a roaring fire made from local chestnut wood.
The surrounding area is worth exploring.
We made our way to Garfagnana, Lucca, Pisa, and Florence, all within a short drive. We soon realized we didn't schedule enough time to truly experience all the property and area has to offer.
We are already planning a return trip with the kids in the springtime to relax, enjoy the garden and explore more that Tuscany has to offer. The owners are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the property and the manner in which they manage it.
They stole a piece of my heart, which remains with them always in Boveglio. .

Our stay in Boveglio was amazing! The village is quiet and peaceful, the house is warm and beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay very much and were able to relax completely.
We loved the sun terrace with the great view - and also the garden was very nice! The whole house is lovingly restaured and many furniture are little treasures. There is no supermarket or restaurant in Boveglio, which is really a pity, but we went to restaurants in Bagni di Lucca and Collodi which were also very good.
As the kitchen is well equipped, we were also able to cook ourselves and even had a barbecue. When not staying on our sunny terrace and enjoying the upcoming spring, we did some day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Bagni di Lucca and Pistoia. We also walked to the next village Benabbio and through the hazelnut forest in Boveglio - staying in nature felt great! But still, when staying in Boveglio you should have a car.
There is a bus stop, but we do not know how often the bus comes..
