PROPERTY Description

Charming guesthouse and cottages by the sea with fjord and mountain views. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner are available if booked in advance. Internet connection in all buildings. Many opportunities for outdoor activities all year round such as a hot tub, boat rental, fishing, hiking, bird watching, caving, hunting, reindeer guidance and winter sports(skiing, snow mobile tours and ice climbing). During summer it is worth visiting the restaurant in the historic house Randulf´s sea-house, a former herring fishery station (open daily 12:00-21:00). The sea-house is located within walking distance, between the guesthouse/cottages and the centre of Eskifjörður village. Guesthouse: Accommodation in 4 rooms in a charming old house with shared bathroom (single, double and triple rooms). The guests have access to a comfortable living room with a TV and reading area with books and magazines, as well as an area with a microwave and refrigerator.

From 20.06 2014 rooms with private bathroom will be offered in new separate units, also with basic cooking facilities and sofa bed as extra bed for 2 persons. All the bedrooms have their own TV, CD, radio and internet access. In back of the guesthouse is a large closed in deck with BBQ. Cottages: 5x4 pers. cottages (39m2) with panels and hardwood floors, each house has its own balcony and porch with a beautiful view. On the second floor are two rooms with two beds each (steep stairs). The sofa in the living room is easily converted into a comfortably double bed. The living room has a television and a radio with a cd player and all the cottages have internet access.
